Dear Mr. Beane,

I am writing to let you know about the fantastic experience we had working with Susan Ernst on the recent sale of our Westford home.

In the beginning of December 2006 a bitter sweet change came into our lives.  My husband was offered a great job opportunity to advance his career, but it meant we needed to move to Colorado.  We absolutely loved our home and our neighbors on Barn Lane, and had always thought we would watch our children grow and finish high school in Westford.

Within two weeks my husband went to his new job in Colorado.  I was left behind to care for the kids, get the house ready and work a part time job.  All around the Christmas holiday!  You can just image what I was up against after living in a house for nearly 12 years!  And this is where I met my angel, Susan.  We have since become great friends.  In fact Susan and her family will be visiting me in Colorado in the near future!

Right away Susan addressed the issue of “staging” the home to sell.  Along with the stager, Susan moved, organized and decorated the house into a model showroom.  She did an outstanding job marketing our home.  She had a professional photographer take photos, and even created our own personal website, www.12BarnLane.com.  The house went on the market the day I was leaving for Colorado with my children to search for our new home.  During that time Susan made sure the house was ready for every showing (did I mentioned that I left the dog at home!).  The house sold the day after I returned from Colorado (7 Days!).  I truly believe that Susan’s efforts and dedication brought us a great sale price. The day before the closing, as the movers were finishing the packing, Susan helped me organize the house for the new buyers!

When I think back on this very emotional time for my family, I realize that I was blessed to have Susan there to guide us through every step of selling our home, so we could focus on finding our new home in Colorado.  She went way beyond what I would ever expect a realtor to do.  She was always there to help me through a very stressful time, and always with a smile!  And she sold our home within a week, for almost the full asking price.  I would strongly recommend Susan to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

Roughly six months ago it became very apparent to my wife and I that our current home was not large enough to accommodate our growing family.  With 2 young children and one on the way we decided it was time for us to purchase a new home.  With our new plan in its early stages and our minimal knowledge of the real estate market we solicited the services of William Raveis, and more importantly Susan Ernst, to guide us through this endeavor.
 
I would like to take this opportunity to highlight the outstanding dedication that Susan showed in guiding us along this anxiety filled process.  It became apparent very early that with Susan’s knowledge of the market coupled with her high level of professionalism that we were in good hands.  She promptly prepared a detailed market analysis of our current property citing multiple examples of recent sales which helped us analyze our financial position.  With this information we could now determine what price range we could afford and at what price we should list our current house.  Susan’s analysis was right on.  We were able to secure multiple offers on our home in a little over a month in very competitive market.  She guided us through every detail of the buying and selling processes with a great understanding of our needs.   Susan was always accessible and ready to help or advise.  We never felt as though we were alone and she continually went above and beyond what we could have ever expected.

A great example of her dedication to her job occurred during the week our daughter was born.  We had scheduled the hardwood floors to be refinished and were unable to clean or restage the house upon completion of the work, as we were at the hospital. An open house was scheduled for the following weekend and Susan took it upon her self to clean and restage the entire house.  This open house yielded multiple offers and the subsequent sale. 
Again we would like to express our gratitude for Susan’s efforts and proactive detailed approach.  She did a great job of minimizing our stress levels by being available and providing professional and knowledgeable advice.
