Details on the new housing tax credit
Good news for home buyers. Congress has extended the housing tax credit for first-time home buyers, raised the income limits, and expanded it to include current homeowners. I could explain all the details, but Ryan Raveis describes the program much better than I could ever do in this video. He summarizes eligibility, income limits, and program specifics.

13 Misty Lane sells in under a week
My listing at 13 Misty Lane in Westford closed in November. There was a lot of interest in this home. Showings started at the Sunday Open House, we had 32 groups go through, resulting in multiple offers, and an accepted offer within 4 days.

The extreme interest in this home shows how much value people place on a nice neighborhood setting, and Westford’s great school system, as both of these were big draws for the people who came through. It also shows how important it is to use the Internet and social media to market homes, as I had over 200 visitors to www.13MistyLane.com in a week.
The house showed really well because I went through each room with the sellers pointing out improvements that they should make, and contracted for an outside staging company to further enhance the appeal of the home.
